The Lake and Stars RTW 2012

Lead by Andre Gunn...I adored his vision...The inspiration was Mexico City, a beautiful native girl, hair tied back for convenience in a tight braided chignon, washes her face and all the baby hairs on the hairline are wet and slicked down...We used gel and a small comb or toothbrush around the hairline to mimic the effect and fishtailed the back tightly to levitate it off the shoulders...
And the make up!The make up artists had their work cut out for them!
Full body coverage and bronzed head to toe...eesh!
Milk Studios are incredible. This was not the penthouse with a view like the Graeme Armour show posted previously, but any view here is incredible, gorgeous natural light and they brought a friggin' sandbox in for the show.
The lengths we go to for art...and consumption!
I knew stylin'out my baby mexican hairs would become high fashion someday....
P.S. I know I jacked alot of these off the interweb...apologies to photogs who deserve credit...I'll get ya back someday soon...These however, are my shots...not as profesh!

The light! And awesome team of stylists. Frida looking into the window kept me sane on the shows we worked on together and gave me so many helpful tips...

The remarkable calm before the storm...laughter and smiles! Happy models!

Tiny Jessica!...I forget who represents her...I'll find out...So sweet, fresh off the Teen Vogue show...

I love how she represents! From age-appropriate peace sign to lady-like fierceness...
Their ages always shock me. Although, at this show the age range was impressive as well as sizes of models. They definitely incorporated some curvier girls...
Well, curvy by model standards...
